Valentine's Day Windows Part 2

You know, retail didn't really used to place an emphasis on Valentine's day, except for those selling flowers and gift stores. That is to say, I had never seen stores, especially departmental stores do a V-day feature. But look, look, look! This window with pinhole concept not only induces curiosity but by getting the consumer(s) to come closer, it also closes the proximity between couples, forming that one moment of intimacy which should remind couples of that first 'heartbeat' blushing moments! Very glad that Robinsons had decided to collaborate with La Salle on this project because it's very well thought out! Almost impossible to miss out on this display... Hope to see more of these!

Not so sure if the last pinhole I saw was supposed to be displayed though... Hmmms.

Alrights, for Isetan, I would just like to say at least you guys made some effort. I was a little disappointed cause this just reminds me of the marriage 'gate' like couples of my mum's age would walk through the aisle and I don't exactly think that's speaks of fun and love? Nevertheless, there's an attempt there.

On the other hand, I totally dig Kikki.K's display! So sweet and cute! The backdrop is like a card with little open-ups to reveal '10 things I love about you', while the decal in the front 'let's be forever' is like a graffiti young lovers do to declare or pledge their love to each other. Sweet! Even the words on the flooring 'come in for a little something wonderful' is very warm and inviting... (I'm sure all girls know exactly what that feels like)

Last of all is Swatch's all encompassing display: filling almost three quarters of wall space in the store, you simply cannot ignore it! Like that they used the colours and shape of the V-day watch and the little hearts just remind me of candies, how sweet can that be?! Yums.

One more feature left for this Valentine's day episode! Though it's already over, I'm sure the love is still in the air, and when you see this last one, you'll wish for a restaurant or your house to look as sweet and decadent as it! So please be patient and stay close!

xoxo,
Yuhan
